The Association works tirelessly at organising events to celebrate local traditions and culture, such as “1/4 di cantine” in May and the grape festival in September, held in the medieval village of Giglio Castello. Visitors can taste typical dishes and the prized Ansonaco wine. The Pro Loco also protects the islands’ natural and cultural heritage, organising beach and seabed clean-up days and collaborating with the Tuscan Archipelago National Park. It welcomes cruise ship tourists in partnership with PortArgentario and holds cultural events like “Il Lunedì del Lettore” and “Il Giglio Espone”.
